How Eggs Can Help Your Skin

Eggs are usually used for cooking, but surprisingly, they are extremely beneficial for your skin too.

The egg whites in eggs minimize your pours and even your skin tone.  It works like a natural toner, but has other benefits as well. It will also help reduce oil and prevent acne.

The yolk is a natural moisturizer and keeps your skin from peeling and has no oil base so it won't make your skin look shiny either.

The recipe is simple.  All you need is one egg.  I use this about once a week and the change in my skin is noticeable almost instantly.

Directions:

  • Crack an egg, and separate the yolk from the egg whites
  • Put the yolk and the egg whites in two separate bowls
  • Whisk the egg whites with a fork so it becomes foamy
  • Apply the foam all over your face with your fingertips
  • Wait about it minute for it to dry
  • Remove with warm water
  • Apply the yolk all over your face (especially dry areas)
  • Let it dry for about a minute
  • Remove with warm water
Your face should feel great!

Good Luck & Enoy!

* If you have any allergies to eggs, do not use this mask.

DIY Sea Salt Spray!

Every girl loves their wavy hair after a long day at the beach.  I've tried a few different sea salt sprays before, but this recipe is by far the best! It's also quick and super easy to make.  Let me know your feedback!

What you will need:
  • 3 oz. spray bottle
  • 1 Tbs. sea salt
  • 1 Tbs. Conditioner
  • Water
Also:
  • If you want to use a bigger bottle, just double or triple the recipe
  • If you have thinner hair like I do, use a little less than a Tbs. of the salt and conditioner
  • It doesn't matter which product brands you use.  I just used whatever was around my house
Directions:
  • Fill the bottle with the salt and the conditioner
  • Fill the bottle 3/4 full with water
  • Shake it all up
  • Fill the remaining 1/4 with water

Easy Peasy... Enjoy!

First Post

Welcome Ladies!

I'm new to this whole blogging thing, so bare with me.  I'm your typical college girl trying to figure out four main things...

  • How the hell will I survive the "real world" when I graduate
  • How to avoid embarrassing myself each day
  • What can I blow my nonexistent money on
  • What I'm going to eat
Realistically, those are not at all in chronological order... more like opposite order. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the blog!

Always,
